AHH, I hate it. Always when I upload the pictures, the quality is soooo bad. Anyway, sorry that it took so long. But i was in Rotjeknor (Rotterdam). Kim and Rick wanted to go to Black Widow, a gothic store there. Kim gives a halloween party and wanted a outfit. Rick also. So, what did I? I don't know, I said where to go and how to ride (Rick has his own car), haha! Butttt, I bought myself a new piercing! I'm going to show it soon enough!

So, who are you?
I'm Frederique Bos, I'm 19 years old and I'm currently in my second year of psychology at the university in Amsterdam. I like electronic music from dubstep, uk-funky, ambient, idm, breakcore, minimal, dub, dub-techno, glitch, instrumental hiphop beats and so go on! Besides my study, I like to visit parties, listen to music untill I fall down, acting weird and go shopping

Where do you buy your clothes most of the time?
I buy my clothes at the American Apparal, second hand from the Noordermarkt and somethimes the Episode. I'm addicted to the store Van Dijk at Rotterdam, the labels: Isabel Marant, Paul Smith, Stella McCartney, Vanesso Bruno and a few other nice Dutch designers like Monique van Heist. I also like to go to the store Rika in the nine streets in Amsterdam. They are selling really nice and rugged skirts, panther prints and a lot of leather!! Sometimes I buy something from the H&M, Zara and Bijenkorf.
Were do you get your inspiration?
I get my inspiration from the weather and from my own mood. How I'm feeling, that's how I dress. Besides that, I'm really fond of the style mostly found in Paris. So that's where I get my stuff too. I love the classic woman fashion, but combined with a more grunge styl and man clothes. That's why I like to wear leather, wool clothes, panther prints, silk dresses and shirts combined with heals, rugged sneakers or dignified shoes. Moreover, I also look on what's in Elle and what happens on the catwalk. Their I can find something from my clothes.

Do you have some tips for a good style?
Good tips? Difficult. Wear things you feel fine and comfortable in and don't just follow the fashion. Wearing layers and combining tight clothing with lose clothing will help a lot. Wear lose silk skirts with tough boots or trendy mens' trousers with a nice blouse and heels and you're done!!

All I do is sleep all day, and think of you

I didn't do a lot this weekend. So because of that, I'll show you 2 old photo's that i've made 1/2 weeks ago and 1 photography photo.

A friend of mine, Vincent, has made a mix for me. So he needed some pictures. This was the picture that I liked, but he took an other photo.

Yesterday I didn't do a lot. I was really tired, so I went out to the garden and took some photo's with my camera. I think this one is pretty cool.

Sigaretten en zusjes

Mijn zusje rookt. Net zoals ik. Alleen ik begon op mijn 14e en zij op haar 12e. Terwijl ze nu zelf 14 is. Mijn moeder had een pakje sigaretten gekocht, zodat het net leek alsof zij rookte. Alleen maar om mijn zusje in de val te lokken. Dat ze zou vertellen dat ze rookte. Iedereen wist het al natuurlijk. Raar genoeg kwamen ze er bij mij pas na een jaar achter, heel naïef allemaal.

Het leuke is alleen.. Mijn zusje werkt niet. Ja, af en toe bij mijn vader, met schoonmaken, maar daar blijft het wel bij. Ze heeft ook geen geld om sigaretten te kopen. Nu zijn mijn ouders zo slim geweest om een deal te maken: als zij in huis schoonmaakt en elke week klusjes doet, dan krijgt ze een pakje sigaretten. Maar mijn zusje, dat is zo'n popi jopie geval. Deelt graag uit en rookt veel. Haar vriendinnen nemen dan ook graag haar sigaretten aan, ze krijgt alleen nooit iets terug. Dus wat gebeurt er dan. Ze gaat van mij en mijn moeder stelen (oohja, dat had ik er nog niet bij verteld, zodra mijn ma wist dat mijn zusje ook rookte, is ze zelf ook begonnen. Heel snugger en slim ja). Normaal vind ik dat niet erg als ze er 1 of 2 uithaalt. Maar wat ze me vandaag flikte. Gewoon verdomme een heel pakje. Een heel pakje van 23 sigaretten van 5,30. En dan nog heilig beweren dat ze niet mijn pakje had gepakt, maar haar eigen.
Hoe haaaalt ze het in dr hoofd?!

Goed, ik heb zo'n idee dat het een tik is. Het blijft namelijk niet alleen bij sigaretten, maar ook kleding wordt er gestolen en make-up. Ik denk dat vele van jullie, behalve de jongens (ik weet toevallig dat ik ook mannelijke lezers heb), dat probleem ook wel kennen. En het maakt dan niet uit wat je zegt, het dringt toch niet door. Pas als je ze even flink onder handen heb genomen, dan luisteren ze een week. Daarna is het weer over en gaan ze weer verder.

Maar ach.. volgens mij heb je daar zusjes voor. Je blijft hoe dan ook van ze houden.

A different way

So hello. Hello, hello, hello, hello! I guess I'm back? Don't wanna say it for sure, because I always promise that I post something soon. Look at my latest promise, after lowlands I would do more posts. And what happend? Nothing. Only a post about Lowlands. I suck. I know.
So, I have been thinking (yes, I can think). And I think I should do a day certification.
Look, this is what i'm going to do day by day:

Monday: Pictures from my weekend
Tuesday: Streetstyle picture + interview
Wednesday: Outfit pictures or new clothes that I've bought
Thursday: Inspiration pictures
Friday: Music that I like or sometimes a mix by Vincent
Saturday: My own dutch colomn. Sorry for the people who are not from The Netherlands. But my english is too bad to write a whole column in English.
Sunday: I don't know, something special, or nothing.
