Follow, misguide, stand still

Hello hello! So today it's inspiration day. I didn't go to Rotterdam, because Kim didn't feel so well, so I went to school. From 8.30 till 14.20. With nothing. Only music, and still that was too boring. This day was crap. But there are some nice things! I picked 4 pics from my inspiration map for you! I don't know where I found them.. I only know that a few of them are from lookbook.nu and from stockholm streetstyle.

Sorry for the bit crappy pictures. But when I came home on wednesday, it's already dark here in The Netherlands. So I have to do it with flash. But, tomorrowwww maybe another outfit picture! Because I'm going to Rotjeknor (Rotterdam) with the whole 4 havo. Sucks a little, because it's going to storm tomorrow ¬¬. But, Kim and I are going to the Maritiem Museum. There is a fashion show what we want to see, so I'll take my camera with me.

So I went to The Social Network with my mon. Personally, I wanted to do something else, but there were a few problems. So, my mom asked me to came with her to The Social Network and I can tell you.. Crap movie. Really.. I said to my mom that I thought it was a good movie, but I expected more.

Nightmares In MP3

As some of you might know, I (Vincent), talked about a Halloween mix last week. Well, it took more work as I expected and again, school wasn't helping either... BUT FINALLY, after hours of work (many tears were shed, many cursewords fallen), I've finished it.

I know it's way past one of the greatest holidays on earth,but isn't Halloween supposed to be celebrated late ^^ ?

But without further ado, I proudly present to you:

So this halloween mix consist of nothing but special bootlegs and edits I did, to give every track a halloween feel. And although a lot of premixing and editing was necessary, I did most of the bootlegs in one go. I used mostly halloween themed house tracks, which I mixed with some normal tracks and sounds of various movie scenes (horror off course :D). Like I said, it's mostly house, but I finish with what I like to call a "Monstep Mash": Nine of the most "horrifying" (in a good way) monster/halloween themed dubstep tracks I could find, mixed in SIX minutes!

Dromen

Iedereen heeft wel zo zijn dromen. Ik ook. De laatste tijd zijn mijn dromen nogal raar. Volgens Kim zijn het dromen, dat ik in het diepe moet springen en mijn angsten moet overwinnen. Maar is dat ook wel zo? Heeft elke droom een betekenis? Een droom duurt maar 15 seconde en elke nacht heb je wel een stuk of 100 dromen. Je herinnert je de gekste of je herinnert je droom juist helemaal niet.
Mijn 2 na laatste droom ging over een groot dal waar een dorpje in lag. Het moest de regering voorstellen en boven het dorpje zweefde een groot mooi huis dat het koningshuis moest zijn. Telkens als je naar het dorpje keek, verloor je je evenwicht en moest je je vastklemmen aan het gras, om niet het diepe dal in te rollen. Een gevoel van angst overstroomt je, want wat je ook doet, je wilt absoluut niet daar in gaan.
Dan komt mijn 1 na laatste droom. Dat is een vervolg op de eerste droom. We (ik weet niet meer wie er nog meer waren) kregen toestemming om het dorpje te betreden en er verscheen een trap. Door die trap verloor je niet je evenwicht en kon je er gewoon in. Je kreeg een rondleiding in een koets en het was al avond. Het dorpje zag er erg middeleeuws uit en er waren allemaal enge mannetjes. Een vriend van mij weigerde de koets in te stappen en wat ik ook zei en smeekte, hij kwam er niet in.
Zo werd ik dus wakker. Ik heb het voorgelegd aan Kim en zij zei dat het dorpje mijn angst betekende en dat ik in de tweede droom mijn angst onder ogen kwam.
Dat is toch best raar? Zo'n droom. Zouden ze voorspellend zijn of juist om je ergens voor te waarschuwen? Waarom hebben we überhaupt dromen? Men zegt dat als je niet droomt, je niet slaapt. Best gek als je het zo bekijkt.

Maar oke, een droom blijft een droom en het zal nooit de hele realiteit zijn. Je moet er maar mee leven en hopen dat je ergste dromen niet zullen uitkomen.

Hee Kerel, ik heb nu dus een eigen liedje gepost van Yeasayer. Als je je eigen mix nog wilt posten, kan dat. Je weet hoe t moet, maar ik ben volleyballen, vandaar. Dus, ik zie het vanzelf wel of je t wel of niet hebt gedaan.
